Goudsmit external pole magnets – also known as chute magnets – are highly robust. They have the advantage of having the magnets positioned externally on the product flow, allowing the product to pass through freely. This enables handling of large capacities and minimizes the risk of product bridging.
These magnets filter out iron impurities ranging from 0.5 – 50 mm from powders and granulates in gravity chutes systems.
They are used in industries such as bulk, feed, plastics, ceramics, and recycling.

External Pole Magnets – Manual “Quick Cleaning”
For filtering out iron impurities from coarser products in gravity chute systems – suitable for larger capacities. The magnetic plates are positioned outside the product channel to ensure an unobstructed product flow. The magnets are cleaned quickly and easily using hinged extractor plates (“quick cleaning”).

External Pole Magnets – Self-cleaning
This automatic external pole magnet is a suitable solution when it comes to filtering out larger quantities of iron impurities and where accessing the magnet for cleaning might be challenging. Cleaning takes place automatically during production – without interrupting the product flow.

Industrial Magnetic Filter – External Pole
This is a highly robust filter suitable for filtering out larger quantities of iron impurities ranging from 1-50 mm in coarse materials. The filter can handle higher capacities under pressure, such as pulp in the paper industry. The magnets are positioned externally on the product channel. This provides unobstructed product flow, allowing larger product components to pass through freely.
