Goudsmit drum magnets are used for the automatic, continuous removal of iron-containing and even weakly magnetic impurities. Drum magnets – also referred to as magnetic drum separators – are suitable for product streams heavily contaminated with magnetic particles.

Magnetic drum separator in house, standard type
This type of magnetic drum separator features an industrial finish. It removes 0.5-5 mm iron-containing impurities from all types of non-food powders and granulates, fibers, or coarser raw materials in gravity chutes systems. They are equipped with a 3000 gauss magnetic drum.

Magnetic drum separator in house, “food” type
This type of magnetic drum separator is suitable for use in the food industry. A powerful neodymium magnetic drum removes small to very small iron-containing and weakly magnetic impurities from powders and granulates in gravity chutes systems. Hygienic design and finish.

Magnetic drum separator in housing, “pharma” type
These “Lenastar” pharma drum magnets are equipped with a 12,000 gauss magnetic drum. They remove iron particles from 0.2 µm and weakly magnetic particles from 0.1 mm from raw materials during the production process. The product flow does not need to be interrupted during cleaning.
“Lenastar” is designed in a highly hygienic manner, with a smooth and sloping surface, detachable parts, and water-repellent properties.
